NEW 24 VDC ‘Smart’ Powered Roller - SmartRoller®

Cleveland, Ohio, April 26, 2010 -- Holjeron introduces the world’s first ‘Smart’ 24VDC Powered Roller at NA 2010. Coupled with Holjeron’s new ZoneLink³ family of controls, the SmartRoller® offers industry leading intelligence in a 24VDC powered roller.
Control systems will now be able to read detailed information directly from the powered roller, including part number and serial number, operating life parameters, fault and warning conditions, hours of operation, and many more part-specific and diagnostic level details. Stored in non-volatile memory within the roller itself, control systems will now be able to accurately assess the health of every component in the conveyor system for preventative and pre-emptive maintenance. In addition, Holjeron’s new ZoneLink³ control modules will be able to identify exactly what kind of SmartRoller® is connected and control it accordingly, thus reducing the number and kind of control modules needed in the system.
