The MicroBlock Sensor Input Module for the Smart Distributed System (SDS) provides the capability to connect a single, industry-standard 24-volt direct current (VDC) sensor to an SDS bus network using Holjeron’s unique SmartSense technology. SmartSense works with NPN or PNP sensors, detects whether the sensor is connected and provides support for sensors that have built-in diagnostic signal capability.

Power for the sensor is provided by the MicroBlock Sensor Input Module, eliminating the requirement for additional power. When used with an industry-standard sensor, the MicroBlock Input Module provides direct replacement options for the Honeywell SDS sensors.

The MicroBlock Sensor Input Module and a standard 24VDC sensor are a direct replacement for Honeywell SDS sensors.
Power for the sensor is provided by the module.
