The Holjeron CAN Error Counter provides diagnostic information pertaining to the health of a CAN-based network. The CAN Error Counter detects whenever a CAN error is generated and increments a counter. It also provides information about the percentage of total bandwidth being used by CAN messages. When compared to the error percentage, the percent of CAN packets that are error frames can also be determined. The CAN Error Counter gets its power from the CAN network. This eliminates the need for batteries or external power supplies.
