Holjeron—and its fellow Matthews Automation Solutions‘ brand Matthews Marking Systems—will be co-exhibiting their solutions for tire manufacturing and handling operations at Tire Technology Expo. The two can be found in in Booth 4090, February 14-16, 2017 at the Messe Hannover exhibition hall in Hannover, Germany.
Included in the display will be Holjeron’s ZoneLink3 Green Tire Controllers, which direct the operation of internally powered, motor-driven conveyor rollers moving uncured (or “green”) tires as they exit a tire-building machine. To prevent the soft, sticky tires from adhering to the rollers and deforming travel to the curing molds, the controller offers a configurable, back-and-forth rocking mode that keeps the tires in constant motion.
Also showcased are Holjeron’s new SmartRoller® Square Shell Motorized Rollers, engineered to drive Intralox Series 900 sprocket belts used in green tire handling. Built to order with delivery lead times of 10 days or less, the roller’s four sided sprocket engagement and high-torque, brushless, 24-volt direct current (VDC) motor enables conveyance of even the largest, heaviest tires. It reaches recommended linear speeds of 300 feet-per-minute (or higher) and supports multiple speed ranges.
